A BUILT GREEN® home is built using sustainable practices and certified by a third party. It goes beyond energy efficiency, focusing on materials, air quality, ventilation, waste management, water conservation, and overall wellness.

Before certification, an Energy Advisor tests the home's energy performance and air tightness using the Natural Resources Canada EnerGuide Rating System. This certification provides both an EnerGuide and BUILT GREEN® label.
